Outreach Programme Overview
Forensic Farm was brilliant. We had a session on forensics and had to solve a mystery involving animals. The children were completely engaged, even my ASD & ADHD boys. They loved using the ultra violet lights to find the footprints. The children thought it was ‘awesome’.
The Outreach Programme provides "One Life One Opportunity" moments for thousands of students and their teachers, concentrating on developing their aspirations through the Arts, Life Skills, Science and Engineering (STEM), and Sport. We have reached over 9,000 primary and secondary students and teachers through our STEM workshops, sports and tennis programmes.
Currently there are:
- 2.4 million students on Pupil Premium
- 78,150 children in care
- 1.3 million young people with special needs
The Tim Henman Foundation’s core purpose is to create advantage where there is disadvantage. We seek to work with schools and communities with high levels of students on free school meals (Pupil Premium). We also see to help students on the edge of care or in care, and those with special needs.
